I'll be fine. I only work in IT.

the thing is I only ate like one hit 1/4 inch of blotter tested from a sheet i just bought. a test, did not expect it to be this good. the other thing is acid is not what they show in the movies. low does like this is just really like going reality in HD. sight, soud, smell, touch all go high def. your thoughts get racy, nano seconds become infinite and you live in those moments grow with the thought and experience them and die with them to be reborn in the next, all in the finite of the infinite that existed in those few moments between breaths.

what kind of IT do you do?

hopefully you don't end up dealing with a server outage solo while tired. that would suck!

i used to be the only sys admin when my company was smaller. the most stressful times i ever had was when we had system issues. i didn't have any formal training or schooling. i learned everything on my own through trial and error...

I don't do that kind of IT any more. I do miss those days of being a network admin or sys admin. Running dominion over my own domain. Master of the realm and wizard warrior savoir to the people!

I can't get into exactly what I do due to the nature of the clients and company I work for being a really, REALLY big Corporation and our clients being big scary corporations and governments. And I their last hope in their first line of defense for security. not IT security but like the real deal. it's a fun job!

honestly dude. it's the direct opposite of high tech! lots of 485 Serial connections between low voltage (12-24 VDC) circuits, relays, transistors for monitoring, and the like. it's almost comical how simple this shit is. basically it'll all just a bunch of over glorified arduino boards with paraphernalia wired to it that connects and talks to some sort of database back end thats all linked together via software.
